Individuals with Special Needs

Kaner Group of Companies, with its mission to add value to society, supports the Barrier-Free Life House Project, which aims to provide individuals with special needs access to education, care, love, and high living standards. Güliz Kaner, President of the Association for Supporting Barrier-Free Life and a Board Member of Kaner Group of Companies, has been working diligently on this meaningful project for 12 years.

Under the leadership of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security and the Association for Supporting Barrier-Free Life, the project includes the design of two separate facilities offering day care and 24-hour care services for individuals with special needs. The entire infrastructure and interior design of the center were completed with the sponsorship of Kaner Group of Companies. Additionally, the proceeds from the sale of the biographical novel “Vakit Varken” (While There’s Time), which tells the life stories of Adem Kaner and Vedat Kaner, are donated to support the project.

The Barrier-Free Life House was established as a model social responsibility project aiming to enhance the quality of life for individuals with special needs, help them secure their rightful place in society, and provide them with a safe future.
