Foundation Scholarships
Continuing its mission to support education in the Kuzey Kıbrıs Türk Cumhuriyeti, the Vedat Kaner Foundation remains committed to investing in the future of young people this year as well. Students who qualified to receive the “Higher Education Support Scholarship” came together with foundation executives at a meet-and-greet event.
During the event, the importance of standing by students throughout their educational journey was emphasized. Providing educational support scholarships each year to students studying in various academic disciplines, Vedat Kaner Foundation Board of Trustees Chairman Adem Kaan Kaner stated in his speech:
“Education is the most powerful tool shaping the future of societies. By supporting the youth of our country, we aim to help them look toward the future with greater confidence. The education support scholarship is not only financial assistance; it is also a reflection of our belief in their potential.”
Students who qualified for the 4th Term Vedat Kaner Foundation Scholarship gained stronger support in their educational journey through the signing of scholarship agreements. Foundation members emphasized that, in addition to valuing the academic success of scholarship recipients, they will also closely support them through mentorship to contribute to their personal development.
Having previously employed scholarship recipients within its affiliated companies in line with their education and competencies, the Vedat Kaner Foundation will continue to lead social responsibility initiatives that benefit society and contribute to the development of young people.
